Trek for Life & Pedal Your Butte-Off!™ Fundraising History
The first Trek for Life was held in 2019 and was our inaugural event in Crested Butte, Colorado. Following the suicide of my son Kyle, this event is designed to raise awareness about mental health issues in the community, to eliminate the stigma associated with mental health illness, to provide community education, and eliminate the high rate of suicide in this high altitude community. We are a volunteer based effort and 100% of funds we raise from sponsors, donors, and fundraisers are earmarked to provide mental health services for those who don't have insurance or who are underinsured in the community.
Sponsors and fundraisers join us by registering on this website and raise money through donations and pledges. Since we began many local and international businesses have supported us either financially, with in-kind donations, or by volunteering to make these successful annual fundraising events.
